Shortly after arriving at Mumbai airport from rural India, this bag caught my eye. The size of the bag and the color of the fabric give a very good impression. This fabric is often seen in India, but I had never seen one with such good coloring. Immediately looked for a factory.
A few months later, I compared the sample fabric that arrived with this image, confirmed that it was the same thing, and thought about what to make. If you try to make a bag with only this fabric, it will inevitably become "cute". That's why I wanted to give it an industrial look. The prototype was made of iron with a handle. It looked good, but it was heavy and difficult to use, so I decided to make a handle out of aluminum. I also decided to use a water hose to protect the handle.
